What is Maoism?

Some say that Maoism is the application of Marxism-Leninism to the conditions that are peculiar to the situation in China during the life of Mao Zedong. This definition is based on a dangerous misnomer, Maoism is NOT Mao Zedong Thought. Mao, indeed, applied Marxism-Leninism to Chinese conditions, and applied it in a way that was far superior to that of Vladimir Lenin. But if Maoism were only the application of Marxism-Leninism to the conditions that are peculiar to China it would be the same as Mao Zedong Thought, a purely Chinese and only a Chinese, phenomenon. We know, however, that Maoism is not merely a Chinese, but an international phenomenon rooted in the whole of international development. That is how we know this definition suffers from disinformation.

The synthesis of Marxism–Leninism–Maoism did not occur during the life of Mao Zedong.

From the 1960s, groups that called themselves Maoist or which upheld Maoism were not unified around a common understanding of Maoism and had instead their own particular interpretations of the political, philosophical, economical and military works of Mao.

 

As a unified, coherent higher stage of Marxism, Marxism–Leninism–Maoism was not synthesized until the 1980s through the experience of the people's war waged by the Shining Path. This led the Shining Path to posit Marxism–Leninism–Maoism as the newest development of Marxism. Abimael Guzmán was the vindication for the theory and practice of the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement.

The Communist Party of Peru more commonly known as the Shining Path, is a revolutionary communist party and political organization in Peru espousing Marxism–Leninism–Maoism.

The Communist Party of Peru was the first Vanguard Party to espouse Marxism–Leninism–Maoism.

The reason that the Communist Party of Peru is more commonly called the Shining Path has a lot to do with the origins of the Communist Party of Peru. This is something that we will explain in another post. This post is about challenging two very dangerous reactionary tenancies that get confused for Maoism. Sakaism and Gonzaloism are the two major political heresies that can not be tolerated by Marxist-Leninist-Maoists. The two great political heresies that plague Marxism-Leninism-Maoism are Gonzaloism and Sakaism. Gonzaloism is the idea that Abimael Guzmán must be lionized, copied and held up as a Saint, even though he became rather reactionary before his arrest. Marxism-Leninism-Maoism does not ignore genuine War Crimes, the United Nations got their concept of Human Rights from us the Communists. We Communists did not get our concepts of Human Rights from the U.N Declaration of Human Rights.

Yet the Revolutionary must be careful to always remember that upholding Nonviolence as a Philosophy is a threat to Human Rights. Nonviolence is a tactic and a tactic alone. Pacifism is the road to Genocide. Gun Control is a Right Wing plot by Imperialists in hopes of pacifying a population, making them fearful of the State. If the State is not run by the Masses it must be destroyed, this destruction of the State is never Nonviolent. Gonzaloism is the dismissal of correct ideas in favor of personality cults. Sakaism is victimization turned into ideology. No one should even read “Settlers: The Mythology of the White Proletariat from Mayflower to Modern” without reading the writings of Frantz Fanon. Although there are errors in such a work “The Redneck Manifesto: How Hillbillies, Hicks, and White Trash Became America's Scapegoats” should be read alongside “Settlers: The Mythology of the White Proletariat from Mayflower to Modern” and then a much clearer picture of history emerges.

We have had to combat the political heresy known to us as Gonzaloism for a while now, the political heresy known to us as Sakaism is new and it is causing serious counter-revolutionary problems. Even though “The Redneck Manifesto: How Hillbillies, Hicks, and White Trash Became America's Scapegoats”comes with a lot of racialist-like language it is actually a very anti-racist book, it confronts the true ills of Capitalism, this is not a book which should be read on its own it should be read along side “Settlers: The Mythology of the White Proletariat from Mayflower to Modern” with use of these two books side to side we draw up very uncomfortable yet necessary conclusions about the racist problem which serves to divide the Proletariat. The Revolutionary Anti-Imperialist Movement (RAIM) was directly responsible for the political heresy of Sakaism. RAIM was a reactionary group of cosplayers claiming Maoism-Third Worldism that functioned more like a Cult than a Communist Organization, this organization was obsessed with Jason Unruhe and sought out to wreck him at every turn before the fraud known as Anarchopac began to fully draw up a offensive against Jason. These insane little cosplayers decided that their number one obstacle was not even the Leading Light Communist Organization (LLCO) but Jason Unruhe himself. Genuine Communists upholding Marxism-Leninism-Maoism know fully that the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist-Third Worldists are simply disillusioned Marxist-Leninist-Maoists attempting revolutionary defeatism whether they see themselves that way or not. Maoists can not be opposed to the "third worldists" because they are really just Maoists who have mistakenly come to believe that Maoism is outdated and a new analysis is necessary. RAIM was never "third worldist" or Maoist in anyway. But the odd thing about Sakaism is that it was the actual ideology of RAIM. As far as Third Worldism goes, it is not a new phase in Marxism, Third Worldism is the study of the Global Class divide, nothing more or less than that. There is no such thing as a "third worldist" Jason Unruhe and all the members of the LLCO are not "third worldists" they are Maoists who are fed up with the fake Maoists. So then, this brings us back to the political heresy of Gonzaloism.

Communists have turned off too many indigenous peoples to Marxism. One of the main purposes to the advancement of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism is to correct this. We have yet to correct this, Abimael Guzmán's fall to reaction has definitely not helped. But the fault truly lies on the entire Revolutionary Internationalist Movement for not anticipating the importance of Counter Intelligence. Gonzaloism is the idea that Abimael Guzmán must be lionized, copied and held up as a Saint, even though he became rather reactionary before his arrest. Within the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement there was a good number of rightist-opportunists that worked very hard to remove the importance of Lin Biao, this is the root of Gonzaloism. Abimael Guzmán was important because he was the one who vindicated the position of RIM but there is not much more than this in all honesty.  

All genuine Maoists need to combat both the Gonzaloists and the populist fake Maoists. Many of the populist fake Maoists accuse true Maoists of Gonzaloism but this is slanderous wrecking because even though Abimael Guzmán has become rather reactionary he is still very important for study, no one can claim to understand Marxism-Leninism-Maoism without acknowledging Abimael Guzmán.

Bernie Sanders was not a Socialist at all, not even a little bit. The very State Structure of the United States of America is not only Capitalist it is still very Colonialist and it is the root of Fascism. Americanism is the reality and Constitutionalism is the myth.

Bernie is representative of the long-standing Liberals. New York Jewish "working class" of ultra-liberal activists with the Martian Luther King Movement tend to be hyper-liberal. Sanders is a member of the Democratic Party. At best Bernie Sanders was the Anti-Fascist choice. The calls made by Bernie Sanders never meant anything except for the further exploitation of the Third World by the First World. Bernie Sanders did not ever express his "Non-Zionist" position all that well, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden have made him look like a giant. Believe it or not we actually do feel bad for Bernie Sanders, his election was stolen twice and both times he bowed to the Democratic Party, he was called a sexist by Elizabeth Warren. The criminalization of Antifa would have come even without a Trump presidency.

Medicare and the Green Planned need to be championed by mass movements of People not idealistic faith in voting. The First World Nation-States must be destroyed, failure to do so is destroying the environment. The First World is not revolutionary. All of the true elements of revolution in the First World are Lumpen. Surly a Bundist would realize how incorrect Marx was about where revolution would come, why do you need Marxists to explain the revolutionary science for you? Once upon a time the Bundist Movement started a slogan this slogan was "HANDS OFF THE THIRD WORLD" and it was radical.

Before we start this, many thanks to Comrade Net for making sure we got this, we are very upset that Dona Newman withheld this from us. All links provided in this post must be clicked on, failure to do so shows a dismissive attitude, dismissive of those of us who fight the fight in World Revolution.

Let us start this off with gratitude, thank you for recognizing the failings of Leon Trotsky. Your acknowledging of the failings of Leon Trotsky and seeing issues within Trotskyism is much appreciated, Joseph Stalin is blamed to much when he was merely a continuation of Vladimir Lenin. We do however recognize Joseph Stalin as making serious contributions to Marxism, to us Leon Trotsky is minor in comparison. Keeping the facts in mind, Joseph Stalin was not all powerful in Russia and it is a fact that the NKVD was riddled with serious corruption, even standard Marxist-Leninists recognize this. There is zero evidence of the 'Testament' even existing aside from Mythic-Western Sources. Leon Trotsky although having some very valid ideas was himself a rightist-opportunist, although we are not truly convinced that Leon Trotsky was a Fascist collaborator as the majority of our Marxist-Leninist Comrades seem to be convinced. It is more likely that Leon Trotsky knew that the 'Testament' had been a set of notes on a personal manner considering Stalin's rudeness. Joseph Stalin was known to be looking after Vladimir Lenin's health at the time and the doctors told Lenin not to read Newspapers and so Stalin yelled at Lenin's wife when she gave in to Lenin's insistence on reading Newspapers. Joseph Stalin and Vladimir Lenin's wife Nadezhda Krupskaya had come to terms with each-other later on, this is well known, Leon Trotsky did not have mass Russian support and he was out of touch with Russians unlike Joseph Stalin. This should be enough to make it clear that what actually happened is that when the Myth of a “Testament” was first made, Leon Trotsky was actually truthful when he wrote:

Eastman asserts in several places that the Central Committee has “concealed” from the party a large number of documents of extraordinary importance, written by Lenin during the last period of his life. (The documents in question are letters on the national question, the famous “Testament,” etc.) This is pure slander against the Central Committee of our party. Eastman’s words convey the impression that Lenin wrote these letters, which are of an advisory character and deal with the inner-party organization, with the intention of having them published. This is not at all in accordance with the facts.
During his illness, Lenin repeatedly addressed letters and proposals to the leading bodies and congresses of the party. It must be definitely stated that all these letters and suggestions were invariably delivered to their destination and they were all brought to the knowledge of the delegates to the Twelfth and Thirteenth Congresses, and have invariably exercised their influence on the decisions of the party. If all of these letters have not been published, it is because their author did not intend them to be published. Comrade Lenin has not left any “Testament”; the character of his relations to the party, and the character of the party itself, preclude the possibility of such a “Testament.”

Some time after Trotsky realized that the Party of Lenin would never accept him he clearly decided that his best position in life was to embrace the Myth by Eastman. Trotskyists universally claim that Vladimir Lenin was to name Leon Trotsky as his successor, but this is a fallacious claim backed by nothing but Trot Mythology. Indeed, we have a bigger issue with Trotskyism and Trotskyists than we do with Trotsky himself, if something in the work of Trotsky is correct we can adopt it, if something is incorrect we reject it and even denounce it. Marxism-Leninism-Maoism was declared originally in the 1980s by the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement, synthesizing Maoism and Marxism-Leninism before this Maoism was a very empty word. It is also important to recognize that Maoism is not Mao Zedong Thought. However is is equally important to recognize that Maoism is Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. Marxism-Leninism-Maoism can never recognize Trotskyism as anything but Crypto-Fascism yet Marxism-Leninism-Maoism can recognize contributions of Leon Trotsky yet this is not done without major reservations. Marxism-Leninism-Maoism has some reservations about Lenin, Stalin and Mao yet at the same time we recognize these Revolutionaries to be very important, so as Maoists our reservations towards Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin will not be as intense as our reservations towards Leon Trotsky who was known to be a liar and a extremist-collaborator to Western Chauvinism in ways that Joseph Stalin had not been, that is not to say that Joseph Stalin was without opportunism, he clearly was but Leon Trotsky was much worse.

Although critical of some of the statements made in the work Federation of Palestinian and Hebrew Nations we remain open to it, as we said before all other attempts at a Peace Process have failed. Joseph Stalin's recognition of the Zionist State was his greatest error ever. Poor People of Color generally distrust the Social Democratic flavor of that mailing list. So even though you follow Primary versus Secondary contradiction in favor of Liberalism you still follow it, you do this clearly in ignorance, no one going as far as you have for Palestine and World Revolution could be a Shill, but you are still ignorant and very disconnected. How many people have come and gone, shined brightly and then left, if you had the Young Jewish Lumpen Radicals you may actually have a Revolutionary force.

Criticism of Dona Newman of the Bundist Movement

The same is the case with his reactionary tendencies and his emotionalism to be sure of, yet these are tenancies they can not represent the breakthroughs that yourself and Comrade Net Ben-Yahushua correctly credit him for. With all of that, we ask you to prepare yourself for this criticism, we understand that your health is low, but appeals to emotion will do no one any good, our criticism of you will be correct and very brutal, brace yourself Comrade Emissary Newman.

Dona Newman you already know that on the date of June 18, 2019 we wrote to Dr. Weizfeld a response titled Marxist-Leninist-Maoist response to Dr. Weizfeld and we figured at some point that Dr. Weizfeld would have replied to our answering of the nine questions that he posed to Leninists, Maoists and Third Worldists. Comrade Net printed out Dr. Weizfeld's entire response and we are aware that you confiscated this. Comrade Net managed to not only retrieve this from you he seemed to have finally convinced you to hand out a furthering reply that Dr. Weizfeld wrote titled "In reply to the MLM analysis in reply to Question #2" you never used to be petty Dona, it seems like last year has rotted out your mind, Comrade Net suspects you of going completely insane and this looks like it is so unfortunately, of course he has also stated that he is not sure if his suspicions are even valid. On the date of June 25, 2020 Comrade Net met with the one member of Panther C.O.D.E that is in Arizona and he forwarded all that Dr. Weizfeld had written to us. We can confirm our criticism by your own self-criticism that you yourself wrote titled One Year Ago - May 27, 2019; and a Self-Criticism yet we wish to make the bold statement that this self-criticism is not good enough of a self-criticism, we also choose from here on out to ignore any and all criticisms you make of yourself, Dr. Weizfeld and Comrade Net. We will only accept Comrade Net's self-criticism of himself as well as his criticism of yourself. As far as Dr. Weizfeld is concerned we will accept a full and detailed criticism of him from Comrade Net, in fact we demand it. We also will accept any self-criticism that Dr. Weizfeld makes of himself but we will ignore any and all criticisms he makes of Comrade Net because when it comes to how well Comrade Net grasps the situation in Arizona and the World we have noticed how much Dr. Weizfeld knows very little. We expect from Comrade Net a criticism of Dr. Weizfeld, we expect a criticism from Comrade Net of Dona Newman (NOT TO BE WATERED DOWN IN ANYWAY) and we expect a self-criticism from Comrade Net (WE ABOVE ALL ELSE DEMAND COMRADE NET STOP BEING HUMBLE, THE SAD PART IS HE IS TOO HUMBLE WHEN DEALING WITH HIS COMRADES, HE IN MANY WAYS OUTCLASS BOTH DONA NEWMAN AND DR. WEIZFELD YET HE ACTS LIKE THE SMALL FISH, HE NEEDS TO STOP THAT!) there are many people who trust and respect Comrade Net, even today many bypass Dr. Weizfeld because of his disconnected attitude and many more bypass Dona Newman because of her abusively-paranoid behavior. Yet without these three Dona Newman, Dr. Weizfeld and Comrade Net the leaps in Maoism would not have advanced, all three of the Bundists are essential.

Marxism-Leninism-Maoism is Universal and Adaptable

Manuel Rubén Abimael Guzmán Reynoso; born 3 December 1934), also known by the nom de guerre Chairman Gonzalo (Spanish: Presidente Gonzalo), is the former leader of the Shining Path during the Maoist insurgency known as the internal conflict in Peru. He was captured by the Peruvian government in 1992 and sentenced to life imprisonment for terrorism and treason. Abimael Guzmán is very important, he proved that a Maoist Revolution was possible as all odds stand against the revolutionary Proletariat. The synthesis of Marxism–Leninism–Maoism did not occur during the life of Mao Zedong. From the 1960s, groups that called themselves Maoist or which upheld Maoism were not unified around a common understanding of Maoism and had instead their own particular interpretations of the political, philosophical, economical and military works of Mao. The Revolutionary Internationalist Movement that proclaimed Marxism-Leninism-Maoism saw in Abimael Guzmán application of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism made fully realized. But regrettably Abimael Guzmán fell to his own reactionary tenancies. Never the less, he is proof of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.
